This place is great, and has 24-hour reception, a cozy bar/lounge area, and free Wi-Fi. I remember how the staff assisted my elderly parents during our first stay with such good attitudes. Highly recommend enjoying the breakfast!

Great value for money breakfast with plenty of options, pleasant and reasonably clean place. Great-sized room with extremely comfy bed and a private safe, central heating and an iron. Family atmosphere and very modern decor. Marvellous location right by Ferry terminal, the bus stop and the trains station and efficient staff.

The kitchen staff provided excellent, hot meals with ample choices, and breakfast was a highlight of each morning. The team's attentiveness.
The steep walk to the hotel may be challenging for some guests.

Good breakfast. Nice big, bright room. Parking on public road. Since outside the season with a little running at any time possible.

There was a warm welcome on arrival, the hotel was clean and well organised. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff generally very helpful. Bar: Nice layout but a little pricey. We drank at a couple of local bars simply because the bar charges at the hotel were too expensive.
Nothing - it was good, we will stay at the Asacot again next time we are on the Island.

It's not all bad, but it's not all good.
A good stay with friendly staff and excellent breakfast options! My room was impeccably clean, with a lovely sea view. The warm welcome I received.
The hotel is situated up a steep hill, making access a bit difficult, and the dining area requires navigating several stairs, which could be challenging for some guests.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ascot very much. Staff were very friendly and helpful The breakfast was yummy and we eat in the restaurant on one occasion in the evening and it was very nice. All in all I enjoyed it and would stay there again for sure.

The size of our executive room was excellent. It coped with two adults and a daughter who likes her own space. The food was excellent at all times.
Unable to gain wi-fi internet access at any time in our room. Router signal strength only ever indicated one bar. The hotel router needs upgraded or moved to a much higher position within the hotel.

The staff genuinely. I appreciated the cleanliness of the family room and the excellent breakfast. Just a heads up, the hotel is not directly on the beach, so be prepared for a short walk to the promenade.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Ascot. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the room spacious and comfortable. Best of all was the Breakfast. There was so much choice and the Manx Kippers were so fresh. I am already planning a return in September and have recommended it to other members of my family and friends.

I was not aware that I had reserved an "executive double room as described below. The room had a single and a double bed, twins were requested but that did not matter. Neither the price nor the lack of view would qualify as "executive" - so that is not a complaint.
